On the occasion of the death of her grandfather, Sarah invites her co-worker Sophie to come and keep her company for a weekend in the countryside. Despite the stormy circumstances, a wacky friendship is born between these two women at the antipodes, flavored with red wine, pot joints and cheese droppings.

The network signed on for the first 13 episodes, as well as an option for the second season of the show.On March 27, 2009, the series was cancelled by CBC due to poor ratings.
